Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 c. warm water
2 tsp. salt
8 c. plain flour

Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add beaten egg, water, salt and softened yeast.
Add flour, a little at the time, and mix well.
