Pumpkin Cake Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 can cooked pumpkin
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 (18 1/4 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 c. chopped pecans
    whip cream or ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    Mix eggs, pumpkin, sugar and spices together; pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle dry cake mix on top.
    Drizzle melted butter over mix; sprinkle nuts over all.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Cover with foil loosely the first half of baking time (to keep from browning too soon).
    Cut into squares and serve with cream.
