Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. Karo (blue label)
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. roasted peanuts
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine the Karo and sugar; boil to 300\u00b0 or until brittle when a little is dropped in cold water.
    Add the soda and vanilla to the candy and spread thickly on oiled pans, containing a layer of roasted peanuts.
