Hearty Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef, cut in 1-inch cubes
    5 carrots, sliced
    1 large onion, diced
    3 stalks celery, sliced
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. quick cooking tapioca
    1 whole clove
    2 bay leaves
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Trim all fat from meat.
    Put all ingredients in slow cooker; mix thoroughly.
    Cover and cook on low for 12 hours (or on high for 5 to 6 hours).
