Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium size cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
    salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Sprinkle the cucumbers lightly with salt.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Rinse, drain and place in serving dish.
    Meanwhile, combine the vinegar, sugar and pepper and let stand 5 minutes. Pour over cucumbers and sprinkle with the parsley.
    Chill 2 hours. Yields 6 servings.
