Molasses Krispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    1/4 t. salt
    1/2 t. cloves
    1 1/2 t. cinnamon
    1/2 t. ginger
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 t. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and egg and mix well. Combine dry ingredients and add to above. Mix well. Chill. Make into small balls. Roll in sugar. Flatten with a fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12-15 minutes.
