Granny'S Spanish Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 5 lb.) chuck or venison roast
    1 garlic button, minced
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. ketchup
    2 large onions, chopped
    salt and pepper
    3 c. water
Preparation
    Salt and pepper the roast. Brown in 3 tablespoons of oil or shortening.
    Mix garlic, chili powder, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and water.
    Pour this over the browned roast.
    Add onions. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until tender.
    Serve with rice. Gravy is delicious.
