Steak And Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    round steak, cut into pieces
    flour
    pepper and salt
    oil
    water
Preparation
    Pound steak with a knife or saucer well.
    Roll in flour, pepper and salt.
    Brown on both sides in hot oil or shortening. Reduce heat.
    Add a small amount of water and simmer until tender. Keep enough water in pan for gravy.
