Family Barbecue Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 frying size chickens, cut in halves
    1 c. salad oil or margarine
    2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    4 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. poultry seasoning
Preparation
    Cut chickens in half.
    Clean and dry well.
    Combine salad oil (or margarine), vinegar, water, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
    Heat just to boiling and set aside.
    Place chicken on grill over gray coals.
    Brush with sauce mixture every 5 minutes or as often as necessary to prevent burning.
    Cook until tender. When leg bone turns easily in the socket, chicken is done.
    Yield: 10 servings.
