Fresh Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium tomatoes, peeled
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
Preparation
    Chop tomatoes, removing seeds.
    Saute onion in margarine. Stir in tomatoes, garlic, parsley, salt, basil and pepper.
    Puree mixture in food processor or blender.
    Serve over pasta or fresh vegetables.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups.
