Hot Slaw(As Told To Me By My Mother) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    flour
    vinegar
    sugar
    milk
    cabbage
Preparation
    Put 1 stick of butter in pan and cut cabbage (pepper and salt it).
    Cook until tender.
    Mix together a scant tablespoon of flour,
    vinegar,
    sugar
    and milk.\tSet cabbage off after it has become tender and pour this mixture over it, return to cook until flour is cooked but do not boil.
