Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. mushrooms
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
    1 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Remove stems from mushrooms and finely chop to 1/3 cup.
    Cook and stir stems, onion and pepper in 3 tablespoons margarine until tender (5 minutes).
    Remove from heat; stir in crumbs, salt, thyme, turmeric and pepper.
    Heat 1 tablespoon margarine in shallow baking dish until melted.
    Fill caps.
    Bake 15 minutes at 375\u00b0, broil setting or at 550\u00b0 3 to 4 inches from heat for 2 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen.
