Busy Day Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1 (7 oz.) box elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    2 c. thinly sliced carrots
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes with liquid, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. chili powder
    2 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer gently covered for 30 minutes.
    Add more water if a thinner stew is desired.
