Gapirotada(Bread Pudding) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
1 1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
6 slices toast
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. pine nuts or chopped almonds
2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation

In the medium saucepan, bring the water, brown sugar and cinnamon to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 3 minutes.
Stir in butter.
Cut toast in 1-inch pieces. Fold into the sugar mixture along with raisins and nuts.
