Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, chopped
    2 medium green peppers, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    2 c. tomatoes (juice and all)
Preparation
    Saute onions and green peppers in 3 tablespoons of oil until onions are yellow.
    Add ground beef and brown.
    Drain off grease and add salt, pepper, chili powder, rice and tomatoes.
    Mix well and pour into casserole dish.
    Bake 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
