Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped beef
    1 onion, cut into bits
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1 pt. canned tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. rice
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. powdered thyme
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1 pt. canned kidney beans
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Put the meat, onion and fat in a saucepan.
    Stir and cook until the meat has lost its red color and has browned slightly.
