Manhattan Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions
    1 c. celery
    6 Tbsp. flour
    5 c. water
    2 large tomatoes
    pinch of: black pepper, cayenne, marjoram, thyme and salt
    2 large green peppers
    8 Tbsp. butter
    2 small cans minced clams
    3 c. diced potatoes
    6 Tbsp. catsup
Preparation
    Dice vegetables and saute in butter; add flour and stir thoroughly. Add clams. Gradually add water and let mixture come to a boil. Add potatoes and simmer for 15 minutes. Add tomatoes, catsup, spices and let simmer for additional 30 minutes or until done.
