Chicken And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. Velveeta cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup (Campbell's home-style cooking)
    2 cans Swanson white chicken
    1 c. rice
    salt and pepper to taste
    Durkee fried onions
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter; remove from heat.
    Mix ingredients except onions using only half of the cheese.
    Place in casserole dish.
    Bake with lid on for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Layer with the other half of cheese.
    Top with 1/2 can Durkee fried onions.
