Aunt Jennie'S Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    bread crumbs
    6 large chicken breasts, skinned and boned
    1 (8 oz.) jar Catalina French dressing
    1 small jar apricot or peach preserves
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks (reserve juice)
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Slice each breast in 2 thin layers.
    Wet, then dip each piece in bread crumbs and fry in butter or oil just until crisp on each side.
    Lay chicken in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Mix all ingredients that are left and pour over the chicken.
    Cover and bake until sauce thickens, about 40 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
