Rice Pudding(Top Of Range) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 c. precooked rice
Preparation
    Combine rice, milk, sugar and butter; cook on medium heat until thickened about 30 minutes, stirring often.
    Add vanilla and pour into serving dish.
