Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can fruit cocktail, drained
    1 medium can pineapple tidbits, drained
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    1 pkg. Dream Whip
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix and cook eggs, sugar and lemon juice mixture until thick, stir constantly to keep from burning and sticking to pan.
    Remove from stove, put in refrigerator and let chill.
    Then add to fruit the marshmallows and nuts.
    Beat Dream Whip and add to this mixture. Pour into a dish and let set.
    Chill.
