Bessie'S Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 2 1/2 lb. yellow squash
    4 green onions with tops
    salt and pepper, to taste
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook sliced squash 7 - 10 minutes or until fork tender; drain and mash slightly.
    Mix all ingredients together except cheese and bread crumbs.
    Pour into casserole dish and top with bread crumbs and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes uncovered.
