Peppered Pan Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. dried leaf basil, crumbled
    1/4 tsp. dried leaf thyme, crumbled
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted and divided
    2 lb. potatoes, peeled and very thinly sliced
    1/3 c. finely chopped onion, divided
Preparation
    In small bowl, combine salt, pepper, basil and thyme.
    Place 2 tablespoons of butter in 10-inch nonstick skillet.
    Line the bottom of skillet with overlapping slices of potatoes in circular pattern; sprinkle with part of salt mixture, 2 tablespoons of onion and 4 tablespoons of butter.
