Ingredients

2/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. plus 1 tsp. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs.
Sift dry ingredients and add milk and vanilla.
Make dough soft but easy to handle. Chill.
Roll 1/2 inch thick.
Cut your favorite designs.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes 4 dozen.
