Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 jumbo sweet onions (Vidalia)
    1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
    20 saltines, crushed
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until soft.
    In 2-quart casserole dish, layer 1/2 the onion, 1/2 the cheese and 1/2 the crackers.
    Repeat layers.
    Casserole can be refrigerated at this point and baked later.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
