Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. soft oleo
    4 eggs (room temperature)
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven to 350\u00b0.\tCombine first four ingredients; mix well.
    Blend in flour.
    Spread evenly over jelly roll pan. Mark lightly
    into
    squares.
    Drop pie filling into center of each square.
    Bake
    until
    lightly
    brown,
    25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Sift confectioners sugar over top.
