Italian Cream Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs, separated
    2 c. flour (plain)
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can (small) flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Cream
    margarine
    and
    shortening;
    add
    sugar and beat until smooth.
    Add
    egg
    yolks, one at a time, and continue to beat. Combine
    flour and soda;
    add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Stir in vanilla, coconut and nuts.
