Pepper Steak Oriental - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    2 lb. steak
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 green peppers, diced
    1 can bean sprouts or fresh
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 medium tomatoes, quartered
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cut meat in 1/2-inch strips, 2 inches long.
    Brown meat, garlic, etc., in skillet.
    Add tomatoes in center of pan.
    Cook, covered, for 5 minutes.
    Add cornstarch and water; cook until thickened.
    Serve with rice.
