Mrs. Bailey'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Cream together the sugar and shortening. Add the remaining ingredients.
When cake is completely mixed, add 1 cup boiling water. Bake at 360\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Use either a 9 x 13-inch pan or two 9-inch pans.
