Easy Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef stew (1-inch cubes)
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. A.1. steak sauce
    1/2 c. sour cream
    hot, cooked noodles
Preparation
    In skillet, brown beef in 2 tablespoons margarine.
    Transfer meat to plate.
    In same skillet, add remaining margarine and cook mushrooms and onion until tender.
    Return meat to skillet; add water and steak sauce.
    Heat to a boil.
    Reduce heat to low and simmer 50 to 60 minutes, until meat is tender.
    Stir in sour cream.
    Serve over noodles.
    Makes 4 servings.
