Chicken Or Turkey Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. frozen mixed vegetables
    3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, cut up
    1 Tbsp. milk
    dash of pepper
    10 oz. cooked chicken or turkey
    1 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
    1 to 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    poppy seed
Preparation
    Cook frozen vegetables in small saucepan of salted water for 5 minutes; drain.
    In a bowl, stir together cream cheese, milk and pepper until smooth.
    Fold in meat and cooked vegetables.
    Unroll crescent rolls.
    Seal perforations to form 4 rectangles.
    Put filling mixture in center of rectangle.
    Pull corners to point over center and pinch to seal around mixture.
    Place turnovers on ungreased baking sheet.
    Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seed.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Serve warm.
