Chewy Shortbread Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oleo
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. flaked coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly grease an 8-inch square pan. Combine flour and sugar.
    Using pastry blender, cut in oleo until mixture resembles fine meal.
    Press into a greased pan.
    Bake for 20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
    Meanwhile, combine eggs, brown sugar and vanilla; beat well.
    Stir in soda, walnuts, raisins and coconut.
    Spoon over hot crust.
    Spread to cover evenly.
    Return to oven; bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until top is set.
    Cool completely and cut into 20 bars.
