Oven-Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
3 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. yellow cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crumbled
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 broiler-fryer chicken (about 3 lb.), cut up
Preparation

Place melted butter in a shallow dish or pie pan.
Combine remaining ingredients except chicken, in another shallow dish. Roll chicken pieces in melted butter, coating each evenly, then roll in crumb mixture, coating each completely.
Place chicken pieces about 1 inch apart on rack of broiler pan.
Broil in preheated broiler, turning once halfway through cooking time, until juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a fork, 25 to 40 minutes.
