Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sweet potatoes
1/2 c. shortening
3 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Boil and mash potatoes.
Sift flour and baking powder.
Mix warm potatoes with sugar, salt and shortening.
Add flour and mix thoroughly.
Roll on bread board to about 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut with cutter and place on floured baking sheet.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until slightly brown.
