Heath Bar Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter oleo
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    6 chocolate toffee bars
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Sift flour once; measure and add baking soda and salt.
    Sift into measuring bowl.
    Add butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar; cut with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Remove 1/2 cup and set aside.
    Combine egg and buttermilk; add to dry ingredients and beat to blend.
    Pour into greased and lightly floured 13 x 9-inch pan; combine chopped bars, nuts and reserved crumbs and sprinkle over the top of batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
