Chilies Rellenos Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef, chicken or turkey
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt (divided usage)
1/4 tsp. pepper
10 Old El Paso whole green chilies, seeded, rinsed and halved crosswise
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
taco sauce
Preparation

Brown meat and onion.
Drain fat.
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper.
Place 1/2 of chilies on bottom of a 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
Top with meat mixture.
Arrange remaining chilies on top. Combine eggs, milk, flour, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt until smooth. Pour over chilies.
Top with shredded cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until browned and knife inserted off center comes out clean.
Serve with taco sauce.
