Christmas Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, separated
    1 1/3 c. can milk
    4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    rum flavoring to taste
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until thick.
    Mix in both milks gradually. Blend in salt and vanilla.
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold in egg whites and rum flavoring.
    Pour into chilled punch bowl.
    Garnish with sprinkling of nutmeg and whipped cream, if desired.
