Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked pumpkin
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
    3 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    pastry for 1 (9-inch) crust
Preparation
    Mix pumpkin, beaten egg yolks, sugar, salt and spices. Gradually add scalded milk and mix thoroughly.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour mixture into unbaked crust.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes.
