Fern'S Cake That Won'T Last - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (2 lb.) can pineapple, drained
3 large bananas, mashed
Preparation

Mix by hand sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon and soda.
Add first mixture, then add nuts, pineapple and bananas until creamy.
Bake in well oiled and floured pan (tube or Bundt) 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Batter will be stiff and difficult to mix, but it can be done and worth the effort.
Cake will be very heavy like a fruit cake.
Serves 16 to 18.
