Cream Of Crab Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. melted butter (2 sticks)
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. parsley, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 pt. (2 c.) milk
1 1/2 pt. heated table cream
1 wine glass sherry
Preparation
-
Melt butter.
Add flour, salt, pepper, parsley and nutmeg; stir 1 minute (do not brown).
Add milk; stir until thick.
Add crab meat.
Remove from fire.
When ready to serve, reheat and add heated cream and dry sherry.
