B'S Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. salad oil
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Soak raisins in hot apple juice (juice can be simmered in mulled wine spices for 15 minutes; strain and add raisins). Combine sugar, oil and eggs; add pumpkin and mix well.
    Combine dry ingredients; add to pumpkin mix.
    Add milk and vanilla and beat thoroughly.
    Add pecans and raisins and mix well.
    Pour into 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Serve with cream cheese; also good toasted.
