Roasted Sweet Corn Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    corn, remove from cob
    butter
    onion
    bay leaf
    thyme
    milk
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together until onions are sauteed, about 5 minutes.
    Place onions in a food processor or blender.
    Add corn and 1/2 cup of milk and process until smooth.
    Pour mixture into a large saucepan and add remaining milk.
    Heat very gently for about 5 minutes.
    Don't boil.
    Serve hot, garnished with pepper slivers.
