Play Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. plain flour
1 c. salt
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 c. water
4 Tbsp. cream of tartar
food coloring (as desired)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the ingredients form a soft ball. Remove from heat and work with hands until smooth and even. Divide and mix in desired food coloring. Store in airtight containers.
