Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising corn meal
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    2 eggs, unbeaten
Preparation
    Add milk, eggs and shortening to meal.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour in greased shallow pan.
    Bake in preheated 425\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
