Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 oz. pasta, such as butterflies or rotini
    1 tart apple
    2 green onions
    1 pickled cucumber
    1/3 c. mayonnaise
    2/3 c. sour cream
    1 garlic clove, pressed
    1 tsp. salad herbs
    1/2 head lettuce (iceberg)
    8 oz. smoked ham
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese
    2 tomatoes
    parsley for garnish
Preparation
    Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package directions.
    Drain; rinse quickly in cold water.
    Let cool.
    Peel apple; dice.
    Rinse green onions.
    Slice finely.
    Dice cucumber.
