Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. corn syrup (light)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. plain corn meal
    1 heaping c. pecans, chopped
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs and sugar.
    Add butter, corn meal, salt, vanilla and corn syrup.
    Beat hard for about 3 minutes.
    Add pecans.
    Place in pie shell and bake at 375\u00b0 for about 15 minutes, then reduce heat to low (about 300\u00b0) and bake about 45 minutes more.
