Arroz Blanco(White Rice) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. olive oil or any oil
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a heavy kettle or pot, heat 2 cups water with 2 teaspoons salt.
    When water is at a rolling boil, add rice.
    Stir and bring to a second boil.
    Let it cook, uncovered, at high heat until water is absorbed (about 5 to 8 minutes).
    Add 3 tablespoons olive oil.
    Stir and simmer, covered, on low heat for 10 minutes more or until tender.
