Creamy Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 slightly beaten egg yolks (save white for meringue)
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla (pure)
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
1 meringue recipe
Preparation

In saucepan, combine sugar, salt and flour.
Gradually stir in milk.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens.
Add yolks; cook 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice and rind, butter and vanilla.
Pour in pie shell.
Make meringue; spread on pie.
Bake for 10 minutes in 450\u00b0 oven.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes; cool.
