Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. plain all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. coconut flavoring
Preparation
    Mix shortening and sugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each one.
    Combine salt and baking powder with flour; sift.
    Add to shortening alternately with milk.
    Add coconut and coconut flavor.
    Bake in tube or Bundt pan 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Cool 15 minutes in pan, then turn out on plate.
    Glaze with powdered sugar-water glaze.
    Drizzle on cake.
    Sprinkle with coconut.
