Apple Cake Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. sherry
3 c. sifted flour
1 scant tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3 c. finely chopped apples

Preparation

Cream sugar and vegetable oil together well.
Add eggs, one at a time, vanilla and sherry.
Mix well.
Beat in flour and in last cup add soda, baking powder and salt.
Fold in apples and nuts. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes in large pan. While hot, top with glaze.
